1. It is reported that a trade agreement was entered into between Hongkong and Central China for the financial year 1943-4. Goods to be provided by Hongkong include rattan mats, sugar, manila ropes, ammonia and Chinese drugs. Goods to come from Central China are bean and wheat flour, cooking oil, cotton yarn, assorted cotton materials, glass, foodstuffs, paper, cardboard and chemicals, Hongkong will provide about 17 million yen's worth
